Retirement

A secure, comfortable retirement is every worker’s dream. It’s never too early to start planning your retirement. And now because we’re living longer, healthier lives, we can expect to spend more time in retirement than our parents and grandparents. Achieving the dream of a secure, comfortable retirement is much easier when you plan your finances.

In-Home Support

Overland Park, KS 66212

913.433.2100

In-Home Support has been Catholic Charities’ cornerstone service to the elderly since its inception in 1993. Licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and the Environment as a Home Health Agency, this program’s goal is to help keep elderly clients independent and in their own home for as long as is safely possible. In-Home Support supplies clients with a range of non-medical services including bathing assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation and respite/sitter service.

Friendly Visitors

It’s easy for homebound seniors or people with minor disabilities to feel isolated and alone.  Friendly Visitors helps ease that loneliness. Compassionate volunteers are paired with seniors ages 60 or older who are in need of some support.  Many of the volunteers are seniors themselves, who want to contribute their time to those in need.  Volunteers are available to make daily phone calls to check on a senior’s well-being or as a medication reminder; or visit weekly to combat loneliness.

Estate Planning

Many individuals don’t believe they have an estate. If you own something of value, you have an estate. A good estate plan will enhance the financial security of individuals and families. In the simplest of terms, you may want to consider creating a complete plan for the accumulation and distribution of your estate.
