You also may want to review the free online self-paced Money Smart computer based financial education program. Students can log on and take the financial education courses online.

CREDIT ABUSE RESISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM (C.A.R.E)
The CARE program is a 50 minute classroom presentation on responsible use of credit given by a local attorney or judge. The presentation is based on key financial literacy themes- dealing with money in your life; budgeting know-how; using credit responsibly; common forms of credit and authentic experiences with credit after high school.

CREDIT ABUSE RESISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM (C.A.R.E)
This program is a one-hour, interactive presentation by judges and lawyers focusing on the proper use of credit cards, the cost of credit, the effects of credit card use, and the economic and personal effects of credit card abuse. It was developed to educate young people, mainly high school juniors and seniors, about the hazards and pitfalls of credit card use and abuse.
